Tammy McVeigh, MD
Dr. Tammy Jenkes McVeigh, MD, graduated from Lafayette College in 1992 with B.S. in Biology and was inducted into the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa honor society. She then attended the Albert Einstein College of Medicine from 1992 to 1996, graduating with honors and membership in the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society.
Following her medical education, Dr. McVeigh completed a three-year residency in pediatrics at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, a leading pediatric institution, from 1996 to 1999. She achieved board certification in general pediatrics in October 1999.
Dr. McVeigh began her professional career at Hudson Valley Pediatrics in Briarcliff Manor, NY in 2000. After the birth of her second child, she took several years off to stay home with her two young children. In 2012, she joined Tomahawk Farm Pediatrics as a part-time physician, where she continues to practice with a focus on providing high-quality pediatric care to her patients and providing necessary support to their families. She enjoys caring for patients from birth through young adulthood.
Outside of her professional work, Dr. McVeigh is passionate about animals, travel, and spending time with her children, Katie and Ryan, and her husband Robert.
